If examination shows that your headaches are actually being caused by musculoskeletal problems, we can help. All TruDenta doctors have years of experience as dental professionals working with the delicate musculature of the jaw, neck, and head—a perfect background to implement TruDenta's process of progressive rehabilitation and physical therapy for the damaged joints and stressed musculature that cause chronic headaches.

Dr. Jared Cox

I grew up in Oklahoma, as did my wife Casey. I originally came to Searcy to study at Harding and play baseball while preparing for medical school. However, I decided that the small working environment in dentistry fit me better than hospitals. After earning a chemistry degree at Harding, I went to Oklahoma University Medical Center for a doctorate degree in dentistry. I currently maintain professional associations with the American Dental Association, Arkansas State Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, to which I earned recognition as a Fellow beginning in 2007.

I have greatly enjoyed my career as a family dentist, because it gives me the opportunity to work with my hands, teach, and build relationships that I believe are fundamental to the mission of Jesus. Family dentistry offers me the flexibility to diversify my practice by providing advanced dentistry such as cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, treatments for obstructive sleep apnea, and disorders of the jaw joint (TMJ). The opportunities I have had to train beyond the scope of dental school and develop the surgical and restorative experience necessary to provide advanced services changes the perspective of family dentistry for my patients. It is that change of perspective that impacts lives and serves not only my patients’ oral health, but also their hearts.

Outside of the dental office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 children. I have had the pleasure of coaching little league baseball for many years, and I often think I am as comfortable at the ballpark as I am in my own home. I am an active member in my church, a member of Harding University’s President’s Council, and sponsor for the American Studies Institute. I have served on the Board of Directors for Camp Wyldewood, a local Christian youth camp, since 2003. I love chocolate like no dentist you have ever met, I am fascinated by aviation, and I watch Sooners football as if I am part of the team. I enjoy writing, podcasting, and public speaking.

I am truly blessed to work with a kind, compassionate, and diligent team that takes pride in their work and wants to lead our community forward with advancing healthcare. I owe them my gratitude every day, because the standards they set for themselves represent everything today’s healthcare should be. When you are in our care, you can expect the unexpected. Extraordinary enthusiasm. Extraordinary support. Extraordinary integrity. And, you can expect a freshly baked cookie at the end of your appointment as our way of saying that we hope that your time with us has been surprisingly pleasant and that we have exceeded your expectations. It will be a blessing to serve you. Thank you so much for choosing TFD!
