Our Doctor:

John Rodriquez, DDS
Dr. Rodriquez has been practicing for over 27 years. He has been in his current location for over 17 years in The Woodlands and Shenandoah, Texas area. Dr. Rodriquez graduated from University of Texas Dental Branch in 1996. Prior to studying at dental school, he attended the University of Texas in Austin and received his Bachelor of Art in history. For the first 10 years of practice, Dr. Rodriquez provided dental care for elderly residents in nursing home facilities where he was able to make a significant difference in their lives. Now he is able to bring this empathetic care and experience to The Woodlands, Texas and surrounding areas.
Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Rodriquez continues to keep up to date with many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. Dr. Rodriquez has had unique experiences of treating a wide age range of patients, from the age of one to even 105 years young. Therefore, early intervention and prevention of destructive habits (clenching, grinding, and damaging bite problems) are the focus of Dr. Rodriquez. This enables a person’s teeth to better endure their more mature years. Dr. Rodriquez also believes in the connection of your oral health and your overall health. By considering a patient’s health factors outside of their mouth, it is easier to get a more accurate diagnosis. Rodriquez and his team pride themselves on providing quality dental care in a gentle and anxiety-free environment.
When Dr. Rodriquez is not actively caring for patient’s smiles, he enjoys the outdoors by golfing or fishing. He also has a love for playing the guitar and creating art. Dr. Rodriquez has actually entered local art shows as well. When asked what his favorite part about being a dental care provider was, Dr. Rodriquez replied “The people I get to meet and treat along the journey. I personally invite you to come and be a part of the Timeless Family here in The Woodlands, Texas!”

The TruDenta Process

Bite Force Analysis
Our proprietary T-Scan technology allows our doctors to precisely assess your mouth and jaw for dental imbalances during opening, closing, and chewing, right down to the amount and direction of the force exerted by each individual tooth.
Range of Motion Analysis
Dental imbalances often cause chronic muscle tension and inflammation, which can in turn limit your head and jaw movement. Our doctors measure and monitor the movement range of your head and jaw to more accurately determine the most effective treatment plan for your symptoms.
Headache History Form
Headaches can occur for many different reasons — in order to find the source of your headaches and determine if the TruDenta treatment process will be effective for you, your TruDenta doctor will speak with you in detail about your past headaches and their specific symptoms.
Muscle Exam
Your TruDenta doctor will locate the latent trigger points in your face and neck that restrict motion and contribute to jaw imbalances — these knots of tense muscle are often missed without a thorough examination.
Head Health Questionaire
Jaw or head trauma can cause a variety of hidden changes in the jaw, neck, and face that may later manifest as stiffness, pain, or headaches. By cataloging any possible sources of damage, your TruDenta doctor can more effectively focus your treatment plan.
Ultrasound
Therapeutic ultrasound treatment returns circulation to chronically sore and strained muscles by providing gentle heat and increasing blood flow, while the targeted sound waves break up scar tissue and deep adhesions.
Trigger Point Therapy
Manual trigger point therapy decreases and eliminates pain and tension in latent and active trigger points by breaking up muscle knots and increasing blood flow in order to decrease inflammation.
Electrocurrent
Our transcutaneous microcurrent stimulation therapy reduces muscle spasms and their accompanying pain through low-level electrical signals. It also decreases lactic acid build-up and encourages healthy nerve stimulation.
