AUSTIN — Approximately 36 million people in the U.S. suffer from migraine headaches. Twenty-seven million are women. What causes migraines and the health problems associated with them has largely remained a mystery for the medical community, so until now there’s been little to do but close the door and the blinds to keep out debilitating light and noise. Now a relatively new treatment offers an incredible amount of hope, and more importantly, relief.
