Several carved Halloween pumpkins with candles in them

Halloween is the start of the Fall Holiday Season.

Whether you join your kids trick or treating or attend one of the many great halloween parties your friends or family are having, Halloween can be a trick or treat to your headache and migraine health. Depending on your particular triggers some candies and other treats can help:

  • Cinnamon: Think Red Hots candy
  • Peppermint Oil: Candy canes – what a great time of year for those
  • Ginger: Gin-gins – crystallized ginger candy

I would steer clear of Caffeine and Chocolate. One of the most unusual remedies i saw was a story from Prevention® magazine that taking a warm foot bath with a few teaspoons of Mustard powder.
